Grape Varietals
Riesling
Riesling Riesling is one of the world's great white-wine grapes. This German grape variety is notable for being able to produce stunning sweet wines (Eiswein, Beerenauslese and Trockenbeerenauslese) as well as dry ones. The Riesling grape’s ability to retain its piercing acidity while balancing intense sweetness creates wines with enormous aging potential. Riesling wines are delicate but complex. The elegant multi-layered bouquet usually has delicate notes of peaches, apricots and citrus fruits. The flavor characteristics are flowery, citrus and the minerals from the vineyard soil. Because of its natural acidity, Riesling is very racy, tart and long on the palate; it constantly develops and thus ages very well.
