Our Notes: The 2009 Stoka Teran comes from a single vineyard that was harvested early September. It is characteristically deep red in color, scented with forest fruits and Mediterranean herbs, and full flavored with plenty of natural acidity and minerality. Particularly perfumed and elegant for the sort, it would traditionally be served with cured meats. Legs of curing pršut even hang in the carved and natural caves used to age this wine. It can make an unbeatable companion to any number of savory, gamey and/or tart dishes, especially those that are all three.

A Sommelier favorite from Eastern Europe Wine & Spirits Magazine A server at Roberta’s in Brooklyn calls this 'peanut butter and jelly wine' for all the iron and rich fruit in it. Sommelier Amanda Smeltz adds that it's "badass with red sauce."
