Our Notes: Magnum bottle! This is about as far away from New World Sauvignon Blanc as you can get while retaining typicity of the grape. After heavy green harvesting, grapes were hand picked in mid September, fermented with native yeasts, and then aged for 15 months in Slovenian oak barrel. A hint of skin contact adds texture, a little spice comes from the barrel, and constantly changing exotic fruit character dominates the 2009 vintage. Pair with seafood bathed in herbs and butter, Indian spices, and grilled vegetables.
