“Viticulture and enology have been our passion throughout the long family tradition and the first bottles from the 1995 harvest were just a beginning of a dream come true.”—Antun Adžić

Adžić is a family winery established in 1995. The first bottle was sold on the market that year. It was followed by the construction of a modern wine cellar built as part of the family house with the goal of offering the highest quality wines to the customers.

The vineyards are located in the villages of Hrnjevac, Venje and Mitrovac in the well-known Kutjevo region on the southern slopes of Krndija. The area is highly recognized for the quality of wines and takes pride in its eight hundred-year -old tradition in winegrowing. Today the family farms 8 hectares of its own vineyards, growing Graševina, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Zweigelt, and Riesling, and contacts fruits from 2 additional hectares.

Antun has built his own cellar as part of the family house where wine matures in stainless steel and wooden barrels. All the grapes are fermented with native yeasts. Whites are vinified and aged in stainless steel and reds age in Slavonian oak barrels.

For Antun, the benefits of the climate along with commitment and hard work are what have stood behind the excellence of the wines and that goal of excellence is what is keeping him moving forward.
